Intestinal, bladder and stomach cramps or spasms can be relieved with the use of Bentyl.
How Taken
Take this medication exactly as prescribed. Adjusting dosages may increase your chances of side effects.
Warnings/Precautions
If you intend to become pregnant, are pregnant or breast feeding, discuss with your doctor before taking Bentyl. Before stopping the medication completely, inform your doctor first as he or she may want you to reduce the amounts gradually to prevent withdrawal effects.
Missed Dose
If you forget to take your medication, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and resume as norm. Do not take two doses at once.
Possible Side Effects
Possible side effects include irritability, restlessness, confusion, memory loss, unusual excitement, constipation, drowsiness, difficult urination, dry nose, mouth, throat or skin.
Storage
Keep out of reach of children and store at room temperature.
Overdose
If an overdose is suspected, seek emergency help. Possible symptoms include hot dry skin, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, difficulty in swallowing and dilated pupils.

Bentyl may increase or cause drowsiness and dizziness so use caution when performing hazardous activities such as driving or operating machinery.
