Drug Uses
Dovonex Cream is recommended for treating plaque psoriasis, which is the most common form of psoriasis. Symptoms of plaque psoriasis include inflamed, red skin covered with silvery scales and are found mostly on the arms, trunk, legs and scalp.
How Taken
Dovonex Cream is to be applied thinly and rubbed in completely twice a day.
Warnings/Precautions
Do not use Dovonex Cream for any other illnesses unless prescribed by your doctor. Discontinue using if an irritation occurs as Dovonex may cause temporary irritations of the surrounding unaffected area and lesions.
Missed Dose
Do not double dose if you miss it. Take it as soon as you remember, however if it is time for your next scheduled dose, skip the last dose completely.
Possible Side Effects
Side effects are rare however it may include pruritus, dermatitis, skin irritation and rash.
Storage
Do not freeze and store in controlled room temperature away from moisture and heat.
Overdose
An overdose of Dovonex Cream is rare, however if ingested or if you feel anything unusual, contact your doctor.
More Information
Wash your hands immediately after use and avoid contact with eyes and face. Use Dovonex Cream exactly as prescribed.
