Drug Uses
If one suffers from scabies, Elimite can be used to treat it.
How Taken
30 grams of Elimite should be adequate for a sole application. Massage Elimite from the head to the soles of the feet and avoid cuts and wounds as it may be absorbed into your body. After 8 to 14 hours, wash off the cream.
Warnings/Precautions
Avoid sexual contain until your scabies is cured. If Elimite is applied in the eyes, nose or mouth, wash it off with water immediately.
Missed Dose
This drug is only used once therefore it is quite doubtful you will miss a dose.
Possible Side Effects
Side effects are rare, however if any of the following occur – burning, itching, stinging, tingling, numbness, swelling, redness or a rash – then contact your doctor.
Storage
Elimite should be stored in a tight container, away from children and moisture at a temperature from 15 degrees to 25 degrees Celsius.
Overdose
If Elimite has been greatly used, it may cause irritation and erythema.

Wash all clothing, bed linen, hair brushes, hair combs and hats to prevent re-infection.
