Norvasc is prescribed to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), chest pain (angina) and other conditions that your doctor may suggest. This drug is in a group of drugs called calcium channel blockers that helps the heart pump blood more easily by relaxing the blood vessels.
How Taken

Warnings/Precautions

As Norvasc is listed in the FDA category C, it is unknown whether it is harmful to an unborn baby. Missed Dose
If you miss a dose of Norvasc, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for your next prescribed amount, skip the missed one completely and continue as normal.
Possible Side Effects
Side effects are unpredictable however the risks of experiencing them are quite uncommon. Indicators of possible side effects may include abnormal dreams, nausea, diarrhea or constipation, urination difficulty, flushing, fatigue, chest pain, irregular heartbeat, dizziness, psychosis, jaundice, swollen ankles or legs, headache, insomnia or an allergic reaction. Storage
Norvasc should be stored in light-resistant, air-tight containers at room temperature.
