Uses of Synalar
Synalar is a drug used to alleviate symptoms of skin conditions. Such symptoms include itching, redness and swelling.
Apply a thin layer of Synalar on the affected areas. Rub the layer evenly, while making sure that the product is distributed on affected area. Wash your hands after application if they are not part of the treated areas. Do not cover or bandage the affected areas unless your doctor recommends it.
Safety Guidelines & Possible Side Effects
If your skin condition does not improve or even worsens during your treatment, consult your doctor. The product can only be taken up to a maximum duration of time. Make sure that the product does not get in contact with your eyes. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding. You may be advised to not take the medication or to adjust your dosage, with proper monitoring.
When taking Synalar, you may experience side effects such as burning, itching, redness or swelling of the skin. You may also experience thinning and discoloration of skin.
Missed Dose
Do not double dose on Synalar. Take your missed scheduled application as soon as you remember. However, it is best to skip this schedule if the next scheduled dose is nearly due.
Drug Storage
Store Synalar at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Do not place in spots that can be easily reached by children. Discard expired medication.
Overdose
If you suspect an overdose or if ingested, call for emergency medical attention. Swallowing Synalar can be very hazardous to your health.
Other Information
Use Synalar only as prescribed by a doctor. Do not take the medication if you do not really need it. In the same way, you should not recommend the drug to others even if it has been effective in your case.
